Director or Managing Director | Credit Syndicate (FIG & Corporates) | London:

A leading international investment bank is looking to add a Director or Managing Director level Credit Syndicate professional to its London platform.

This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing and entrepreneurial team with a strong market reputation, offering significant visibility across senior leadership and the opportunity to help shape the strategic direction of the business.

The successful candidate will play a key role in originating, structuring and executing debt capital markets transactions while helping expand the franchise across both Financial Institutions Group (FIG) and Corporate clients.

• Lead the syndication and execution of investment grade debt transactions across FIG and corporate issuers.
• Advise clients on market conditions, pricing, investor demand and execution strategy.
• Build and maintain relationships across issuers, investors and internal stakeholders.
• Drive business development initiatives and identify new opportunities for franchise growth.
• Work closely with DCM, Coverage, Sales, Trading and Capital Markets teams globally.
• Mentor and develop junior team members while helping build out the platform.

• Director or Managing Director level experience within Credit Syndicate, Debt Capital Markets or a closely related capital markets function.
• Strong understanding of primary debt markets, investor dynamics and transaction execution.
• Experience covering FIG, Corporates, or a combination of both.
• Established market credibility and a strong external network.
• Proven ability to originate opportunities and develop client relationships.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to take ownership and help grow a business.
• Comfortable operating in a lean, high-performing environment where senior bankers remain hands-on.
