National Head of Transfer Pricing

I am working with a leading UK accountancy and advisory group that is looking to appoint a National Head of Transfer Pricing to lead, develop and grow its Transfer Pricing offering across the UK. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Transfer Pricing Director, Partner or existing Head of Transfer Pricing to take ownership of a national service line, with significant autonomy to shape the strategy, develop the client offering and build a team around them.

The firm has grown considerably in recent years and already has an established national network of Tax Partners, a broad client base and a strong platform from which to develop its Transfer Pricing offering further. Importantly, the role is not tied to one specific office. The firm has locations across the UK and can be flexible around where the successful individual is based, alongside offering a hybrid working arrangement.

Duties and responsibilities Lead and develop the firm’s national Transfer Pricing offering. Shape and deliver the Transfer Pricing strategy across the UK. Identify opportunities across the existing client base while developing new relationships in the market. Work closely with Tax Partners and wider advisory teams across multiple UK offices. Advise clients on complex UK and international Transfer Pricing matters. Build and develop a specialist Transfer Pricing team as the service line grows.

Lead business development activity and raise the profile of the offering in the market. Collaborate with Corporate Tax, International Tax, M&A and wider advisory specialists. Have genuine influence over the future direction and investment in the service line. Experience and qualifications The firm is keen to speak with individuals who have significant Transfer Pricing experience gained within a leading accountancy or professional services business.

You are likely to be operating at Director, Partner or Head of Transfer Pricing level and have:
Strong technical Transfer Pricing expertise. Experience managing and developing senior client relationships. A track record of winning and delivering Transfer Pricing work. Strong commercial and business development capability. Experience leading and developing teams. The credibility to advise senior stakeholders on complex Transfer Pricing matters. The ambition to build and shape a national offering rather than simply inherit an established team.

Benefits Salary in the region of £130,000 – £160,000. (Flexibility on salary and overall remuneration for the right individual). Performance-related reward package. Flexible and hybrid working.
