Head of International Student Success (Contract)

Our client, a respected institution within the Higher Education sector, is seeking a Head of International Student Success on a maternity cover contract. This is a pivotal leadership position, driving international student support, UKVI compliance, study abroad and exchange partnerships, and the broader internationalisation strategy across the university. You will play a central role in shaping student success and retention while leading a specialist team and acting as the key contact for UKVI.

Role Overview

Lead and develop international student support services to enhance the student experience and outcomes.
Drive strategies that improve international student success, retention and integration within the university community.
Oversee UKVI compliance and act as the primary institutional contact for UKVI matters.
Manage study abroad and exchange partnerships, ensuring high-quality opportunities for students.
Provide strategic leadership for internationalisation across the university.
Manage and inspire a specialist team within our client's team.

Relevant Skills

Leadership of Specialist Teams  - Ability to guide, motivate and develop a dedicated team focused on international student success.
UKVI Compliance Expertise  - Experience managing UKVI requirements and acting as a key contact for regulatory bodies.
International Student Support  - Strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by international students and how to support them effectively.
Study Abroad & Exchange Management  - Skill in building, maintaining and overseeing international study partnerships.
Strategic Planning for Internationalisation  - Capability to design and deliver strategies that promote international engagement and student retention.
