As part of our continued growth, we are looking to bring in a highly experienced Head of People Management, to join the People leadership team, and to head up our business partnering function. The Head of People Management reports to the Chief People Officerandleads the People Management function, managing the team of People Managers who business partner with managers and heads of business units.

You willactas the senior escalation point for complex employee relations and people matters.

You will work closely with the Head of People Operations (who leads operational delivery, HR systems and reward),as part of the People leadership team,ensuringeffectivecollaboration across the People team as Saltus continues to grow.

You’llhave a wide and varied range of responsibilities, as follows:

• Lead the People business partnering function, ensuring proactive, value-adding support to managers and business unit leaders.
• Provide leadership to the team of People Managers, setting clear direction,priorities and standards forhigh quality business partnering.
• Act as the senior escalation point for complex employee relations (ER) cases, providing expert advice and guidance.
• Oversee the management of employee relations matters end-to-end, ensuring fair, consistent,commercial and legally sound outcomes.
• Support M&A activity by leading the people integration ofacquiredentities from completion through tothepoint of BAU.
• Partner with business unit leaders on organisational design, workforceplanningand structural change.
• Lead succession planning,identifying and developing talent for business critical roles.
• Drive leadership development, building management and leadership capability across the business.
• Coach managers and leaders on team performance,development and difficult conversations.
• Own the implementation of the performance management framework, ensuring clear,fairand effective performance cycles.
