About the Opportunity

Amentum are providing team members to a consortium that provides Level 3 design and substantiation services to Sizewell

C. As part of the consortium, a Transverse management team including consortium and functional leaders act as one for all consortium partners facing the client. We are seeking a talented Risk Manager to join the consortium team and support one of our major delivery programmes.

Reporting to the consortium Project Controls Manager, and line managed by the Amentum consortium lead, you will play a key role in implementing and improving risk management processes, supporting teams to identify, assess, analyse and manage risks effectively. You will contribute to risk reporting, facilitate workshops, deliver quantitative risk assessments, and provide valuable insights to support project performance and decision-making. The role will both internal and external (client) facing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of Integrated Project Controls (Risk) processes.
  • Facilitate risk workshops and engage stakeholders across project and corporate functions.
  • Develop and maintain Quantitative Risk Analyses (Cost and Schedule QRAs).
  • Support Estimate at Completion (EAC) updates and Enterprise Risk Reporting (ERR).
  • Produce risk dashboards, performance reports and risk insights.
  • Deputise for the Senior Risk Manager at key programme meetings when required.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of risk management practices.
Here s What You ll Need:
  • Experience in risk management within large, complex projects or programmes.
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven capability in Cost and Schedule Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA).
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting and communication skills.
Desirable:
  • Experience in project controls and project management disciplines.
  • Major infrastructure, energy, construction, engineering or capital project experience.
  • Professional qualifications in Risk Management, Project Management or related disciplines.
  • Experience with in client, contractor, consultancy or government environments.
