Interim Finance Manager

Cedar is currently partnered with a leading, investor-backed UK infrastructure business to secure an Interim Finance Manager within its Group Finance function.

This assignment will focus on overseeing the month-end and year-end close, managing the external audit and leading an established finance team during a critical reporting period.

This established, high-growth infrastructure business operates within a capital-intensive, fast-evolving sector, supported by significant institutional investment.

The business has undergone substantial expansion and continues to operate in a complex, commercially demanding environment, with a strong focus on financial reporting, operational efficiency and robust financial controls.

As Interim Finance Manager, you will cover:

• Take full ownership of the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Lead the year-end close, coordinating deliverables and ensuring all reporting deadlines are met.
• Manage the external audit process, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors and overseeing the resolution of queries.
• Lead and manage a team of three direct reports within the management accounts function.
• Ensure balance-sheet reconciliations, financial records and supporting documentation are accurate and complete.
