Commissioning and System Development

1. JOB PURPOSE

The Postholder will be responsible/accountable to Associate Director of Integrated Commissioning & System Development (Adults) or Integrated Commissioning Director, Children’s. Manages up to 4 directly managed staff. Manages up to 10 indirectly managed consultancy/contracting staff. The post holder will be responsible/accountable for:

• Leading the development and implementation of our integrated commissioning approach for adults/children in and across the Council and the NHS, which enables strong partnerships and high-quality services that support Greenwich residents to lead healthy, fulfilling and independent lives.
• Supporting senior leaders and staff through:
• Partnership and co-production,
• Continued design and implementation of our integrated commissioning framework
• Incorporating appropriate governance structures, and which supports integrated, outcome focused approaches to health and care.
• Working collaboratively with the market and residents,
• Leading staff across the system to implement transformational change including further integration of health, care and other forms of support.
• Overseeing the delivery of approaches to commissioning that address personalisation and whole person pathways.
