Our client operates a large safety-critical industrial facility with >100 storage assets. With a strong turnover of over £100 million, they rent space to companies to store material in bulk quantities. Our client has a solid maintenance function with a supportive environment, and they are currently looking for another Operator to add to their team! Our client has a clear, structured plan to invest £10 million in upgrading their equipment, facilities and to make way for Continuous Improvement projects!

As an Operator, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Using a tablet to analyse safety hazards and perform the correct checks
• Loading and discharging heavy duty tankers and vessels
• Operating cranes to rig vessels
• Manually gauge tank liquid levels and report accordingly
• Work at heights to perform tank inspection and cleaning duties
• Keeping the site clean and safe from any spillages

The ideal Operator will have the following:

• 5 GCSEs or equivalent
  
  Experience working with a manual-heavy role
• Willingness to work outside and in harsh weather conditions
• Confidence in fast-past working situations
