Electronic Assembly Technicians

Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, is now recruiting Electronic Assembly Technicians for our Staverton site.

• Afternoon shift:
  Monday - Thursday 1.45pm - 9.45pm and 10.45am - 3.45pm on a Friday (22% premium)
• Morning shift:
  Monday - Thursday 6am - 2pm and 6am - 11am on Friday (11% shift premium)

As an Electronic Technician, you’ll play a hands‑on role in assembling and inspecting complex electronic units.

• Building and assembling PCBs and electronic units
• Using diagnostic tools, including multimeters, to carry out inspections
• Reading and interpreting circuit diagrams, engineering drawings, and work instructions
• Ensuring quality standards are met across all builds

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Previous experience assembling and inspecting electronic components, ideally in a manufacturing or repair environment
• Experience working with PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards)
• A solid understanding of electronic/electrical theory and principles
• Confidence in reading and following technical documentation
