This is an exciting time for the Food team at Watch House; we are imminently moving into a new purpose-built bakery - completely redesigning our food offering in order to create a world-class bakery programme.

We are therefore looking for bakers; those with experience but also a keen desire to learn, grow and improve as we do. Watch House is a fast-growing company with ambitious expansion plans, meaning there is real opportunity to develop your career whilst working at our high-volume, high-quality bakery.

Directly reports into (Line Manager):
Bakery Manager

• Utilise production schedules diligently to ensure daily orders are completed in full.
• Ensure consistent quality by following operating procedures and product specifications.
• Share knowledge and collaborate with Bakery Assistants to foster team development.
• Help to minimise wastage by following effective stock management principles.
• Maintain highest standards of both cleanliness and record keeping to ensure the bakery is fully compliant with food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
• Coordinate with management team to develop and launch seasonal products.
• Report any maintenance issues promptly to management to safeguard working environment.

• A positive attitude and a desire to work collaboratively with the rest of the team - approaching all interactions with empathy.
• Genuine passion for food and desire to deliver best in class products to our Houses.
• Constant drive to improve, staying curious and focussed on solutions.
• Diligence to go the extra step, keeping a close eye on every detail.
• Lamination experience in a high-volume wholesale bakery.
