• As a CNC Machine Operator, you will set up, program, and operate CNC machines to manufacture and repair high-precision aircraft landing gear components supporting MRO activities.
• You will interpret engineering drawings, perform machining operations, monitor machine performance, and carry out in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• The role requires strict adherence to aviation quality and regulatory standards (including EASA/FAA where applicable), ensuring full traceability and documentation.
• You will troubleshoot issues, maintain your PER book, meet production deadlines, and uphold safety and environmental procedures at all times.

• GCSE level education or equivalent
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Basic CNC programming knowledge
• Experience with CNC lathes, engine lathes & vertical milling machines
• Familiarity with FANUC controls preferred
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling & shop mathematics
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Experience aligning and securing work pieces independently
• Aerospace experience desirable
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Team player with good communication skills
• Organised, self-motivated and able to meet deadlines
