Food Production Assistant

Location: Charlton

This position is being advertised by Swift Temps Ltd, trading as an Employment Agency. 1 x Full time Food Process Worker require immediate in Shrewsbury to join small family firm within a fast paced environment . The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of production processes while adhering to strict food safety standards. This role requires previous food production and food processing experience and the ability to work collaboratively within a team to meet production targets.

Pay/ Hours/ Days of Work Standard working hours 8am to 4/5pm, flexibility to work overtime/ longer days at peak is essential Working days will be shorted in 6 weeks school holidays Working every SUNDAY, plus 4 days a week between Monday to Fri ( production does NOT operate on Saturdays, day off within week on a rota) Responsibilities Operate , monitor, load and unload food production machinery, Using hand tools to prepare, cut, dice ingredients Conduct regular inspections of equipment and products to identify any issues or areas for improvement.

Perform basic mathematical calculations sizes and measurements Ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of production goals. Packing / labelling finished goods ready for dispatch Maintain cleanliness a of the work area Requirements Previous experience in food production and/ or Food Processing . Previous chopping, cutting or dicing within food production environment Availability to work EVERY SUNDAY , plus 4 days a week between Monday to Friday Basic math's skills for accurate measurement and calculations related to production processes.
