Head of Kubernetes

Hands‑on senior engineer responsible for designing, operating, and evolving production Kubernetes platforms on AWS EKS. Owns platform epics end‑to‑end and provides technical direction across a shared backlog. This is a senior individual contributor role, not a people‑management post.

• Design, build, and operate enterprise‑scale Kubernetes (EKS) clusters
• Own cluster lifecycle
  : upgrades, security, networking, multi‑cluster strategy
• Deliver Git Ops‑based deployments (ArgoCD / Flux)
• Build and manage Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform
• Operate and improve platform reliability and production support
• Partner with application, security, and architecture teams
• Provide technical leadership through design reviews, pairing, and mentoring

• Deep, hands‑on Kubernetes production experience (EKS strongly preferred)
• Strong knowledge of K8s networking, security, and multi‑tenancy
• Proven experience with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong AWS background (Azure/GCP a plus)
• Solid networking fundamentals (VPC, CIDR, routing, firewalls, DNS)
• Confident with Linux CLI
