CNC Engineer

Location – Chessington

£35,000 (£18 per hour) + Premium Overtime + Training + Bonus + Company Benefits

38‑hour working week, 12 pm finish on a Friday

Exciting opportunity for an experienced CNC Machinist to join a stable, well‑established business that values staff retention and offers excellent benefits. The role involves running CNC machinery within the workshop, setting and operating horizontal lathes and mills, and receiving programming training as required. Regular overtime is available at an enhanced rate, along with shift allowance and a company bonus, enabling significant earnings growth.

• Machine alignments
• CNC Turning, CNC Grinding, CNC Milling
• Programming, setting and operating CNC machines
• Read and understand engineering drawings and processes
• Use standard measuring equipment to work to tight tolerances
• Experience with CNC and PLC controls
• Comply with relevant H&S requirements
• Adhere to and maintain ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards throughout the process

• Proven experience working in a machine shop environment
• Experience working with CNC machinery
• Commute to Chessington

Familiarity with running CNC machinery using Fanuc controls (not essential) and a proven background in a machine shop environment are preferred.
