This is a full‑time, on‑site Powder Coater / General Labourer role based in Snetterton, Norfolk, United Kingdom. The role involves preparing metal components for coating, including cleaning, masking, sanding, and hanging items on racks or jigs. Daily tasks include loading and unloading ovens, inspecting coated items for defects, touch‑up work, and safe material handling. The position also includes general labour duties such as organising work areas, assisting with packing and dispatch, maintaining equipment, and following all health and safety procedures.
A candidate that has powder coating experience may operate powder coating equipment, apply powder to steel and aluminum parts, and ensure consistent coverage and finish quality. Training provided for the right candidate.
- Experience in hands‑on work with industrial processes, such as metal finishing, painting, or coatings.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in a fast‑paced production environment.
- Attention to detail in surface preparation, quality checks, and final inspection of coated components.
- Basic understanding of workshop health and safety, including safe use of tools, personal protective equipment, and good housekeeping practices.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Comfort working as part of a small team, communicating clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
- Previous powder coating, spray painting, or manufacturing experience is an advantage but not essential; training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Forklift licence is preferred but not essential
- First Aid Certificate is preferred but not essential
- Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom and reliable transport to the Snetterton worksite.
