8:00 17:15 (Mon Thu), 8:00 12:00 (Fri) About the Role BOLT Technical are supporting a growing UK manufacturing business specialising in electrical and automation solutions for industrial applications. They are looking for a Production Engineer to support manufacturing operations, new product introduction (NPI), and continuous improvement activity within a fast-paced engineering environment. This is a hands-on role working closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure efficient, high-quality delivery from concept through to manufacture.

Key Responsibilities Support production engineering across manufacturing operations Assist with new product introduction (NPI) and production readiness Produce accurate technical documentation (BOMs, production packs, data) Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing activities Support design for manufacture (DFM) and engineering change processes Work with quality teams on root cause analysis and corrective actions Contribute to SQCDP meetings and performance tracking Support efficiency, capacity planning, and delivery targets Maintain accurate engineering data and documentation systems Support and mentor junior team members where required What We're Looking For Background in electrical/electronic engineering in a manufacturing environment Experience in production engineering, design support, or similar role Understanding of electrical systems, control panels, or automation Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Strong communication and problem-solving skills Experience in a fast-paced production environment Desirable: CAD experience (AutoCAD Electrical / EPLAN), lean manufacturing exposure What's on Offer Competitive salary  benefits 25 days holiday  bank holidays  birthday day off Pension scheme Private healthcare support Strong engineering culture with development opportunities Additional Information By applying for this position, you confirm that you have read and understood our Data Privacy Statement and give Bolt Technical authorisation to hold your provided data.
