* We have an opportunity for a full time Workshop Assistant to join our friendly and hardworking team. The role offers a varied workload which requires a variety of skills such as polishing, plating, lasering and jewellery manufacturing, so experience in at least one of these is required. There will be opportunities to develop practical skills in a busy professional jewellery and Silversmithing workshop and further training will be given to the right candidate.
** Duties and responsibilities will include
*** Preparing items for precious metal and selective plating
* Polishing Jewellery and Silverware
* Cleaning up castings, resizing and manufacturing jewellery
* Repairs
- Jewellery and Silverware
* Laser welding
* Quality control of Jewellery and Silverware
* Liaising with customers and suppliers
** Skills and experience
*** Enthusiastic, hardworking and organised team player
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to manage and prioritise workload
* A great communicator who enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills

We carry out a range of services such as Polishing, Plating, Jewellery design, Silversmithing, Repairs, Lasering and Manufacturing, in our workshop at the Goldsmiths’ Centre, Farringdon.
