* About the Role:

** We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented
** CNC Programmer
** to join our manufacturing team.

This is a key role responsible for developing and optimising CNC programs to support efficient, accurate machining operations. You will play an important part in ensuring high-quality production, reducing downtime, and continuously improving manufacturing performance.##

* Key Responsibilities:

**### Programming & Process Development
* Develop and optimise CNC programs using CAM software (e.g. Mastercam, Siemens NX, Fusion 360)
* Interpret engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical specifications to generate accurate toolpaths
* Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and machining strategies### Validation & Continuous Improvement
* Simulate and verify CNC programs to identify and resolve potential issues
* Maintain and update program libraries and supporting documentation
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality### Collaboration & Production Support
* Work closely with production, quality, and design teams to ensure manufacturability
* Provide technical support to CNC machinists during setup and production
* Operate CNC machines when required for trials or to support production needs### Health, Safety & Standards
* Promote a strong
** safety culture**, including BBSO and near-miss reporting
* Ensure safe working practices and support stop-work authority initiatives
* Maintain awareness of product developments and ensure processes remain aligned##
** Qualifications & Experience**### Essential
* Proven experience in CNC programming within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
* Proficiency in CAM software and strong understanding of G-code and CNC operations
* Strong knowledge of machining principles, materials, and tooling
* Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and 3D CAD models
* High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
* Competence in Microsoft Office### Desirable
* Familiarity with ISO standards and quality processes
