Production Team Leader

Our client has a full-time permanent position available for a Production Team Leader at their site base in Crayford Kent

This role is available to start immediate subject to interview

• ensure people and resources are applied in an efficient and effective manner to meet delivery requirements while achieving quality and safety standards
• Ensure that team members follow defined manufacturing procedures and comply with quality requirements
• Ensure equipment is within calibration date and all systems are functioning correctly
• Ensure that non-conforming material is clearly identified and segregated
• Ensure that quality concerns are reported to the appropriate personal and that proper process controls are followed in the event of a quality issue raised.
• Ensure the team are aware of day‑to‑day targets and responsibilities
• Manage work order closures (scanning where applicable)
• Manage picking to your area - ensure prior day line loading is adhered to by the pickers/stores.

• Support, comply and ensure complicity with Health & Safety regulations
• Is self‑aware, resilient, assertive, and open to change
• Work independently, reviewed infrequently with minimal supervision
• Ability to lead by example
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organisation skills
• At least 3 years’ experience in leading a production team.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
• Knowledge of environmental ISO
  14001
• Knowledge of Quality standard ISO
  9001
