ABOUT

THE ROLE

Your role will be based in our Walthamstow facility, working across all areas of production. You will become an expert in all aspects of production and act as the lead operative on shift. You will be at the heart of ensuring we produce food‑safe products to plan and can track all stock from raw materials to finished goods. The role will be a mix of hands‑on production, running machinery, and computer‑based work logging all productions, deliveries, and dispatches.

This is a fixed‑term contract for an initial period of 5 months, with the possibility of extension.

Please note that the nature of this role involves working in a warehouse environment without temperature control. You will be required to stand and work on your feet for extended periods, and must be comfortable performing physically demanding tasks. Additionally, you must have an open and flexible mindset regarding your schedule and shifts, as production demands may require working outside of standard hours or on short notice.

WHAT

YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Minor Figures are onto something here, but it’s not meant to be simple. This isn’t a role for the straight‑forward. The trajectory will change often and you will be expected to help out on tasks around your role. This role will suit someone eager to learn and will give you loads of exposure across the business.

But here’s an overview of what we’d like you to be doing:

  • Running productions on a daily basis of multiple products
  • Ensuring all equipment and space is kept clean and operational to a professional standard
  • Ensuring all product meets our rigid food safety and quality standards
  • Keeping records of productions, deliveries and dispatches
  • Managing routine maintenance of the equipment
ABOUT YOUR TEAM

You will join our dedicated production and warehousing team and report in to Lorenzo (our amazing Production and Warehouse manager). The team produces products for all markets in all regions we are sold in around the world.

ABOUT YOU

We hire humans, not machines, and our team is made up of people who will bring the energy, are eager to learn, and embrace every day being different.

We’re big on collaboration and we want everyone on the team to take pride in their work. You’ll thrive here if you adapt easily to change, face challenges head‑on, and love to jump right in and figure it out as you go along. You support your teammates and you’re comfortable asking for support when you need it yourself.

Approach every day like it’s day one, stay open‑minded, and (as always) have fun with it.

You will have worked in a food or beverage production environment before and be keen to move to a small, growing team where you will get tons of exposure. You must be very eager to learn any number of skills. You will be comfortable being the lead operator of a number of pieces of machinery, primarily in packaging. You will also be comfortable with being the person responsible for ensuring all the paperwork is up to date and recording all of our productions in line with our SALSA accreditation.

Key skills needed:

  • Experience using production equipment in a food or beverage environment
