Overview
FLT Counterbalance Driver – Waste Industry – Malvern. Our client in the waste and recycling sector is seeking an FLT Counterbalance Driver. This role offers excellent rates of pay, weekly pay, overtime opportunities, and genuine temp-to-perm opportunities within a specialist waste processing environment. The position may suit candidates with experience as an FLT Counterbalance Driver, Waste Operative, Recycling Operative, Warehouse Operative, Production Operative, or General Operative.
A valid UK driving licence and access to own transport are essential due to the site location.
- Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off rotating; 06:00 – 18:30 and 18:00 – 06:30 (days and nights rotate)
- Rate of pay: £13.50 – £14.85 per hour
- Weekly pay

- Salary: GBP 14.85 per hour (note: hours may vary and are subject to the shift pattern)
- Sort medical, clinical, and pharmaceutical waste for processing
- Load and move recycling bins around site
- Process waste types in line with site procedures and regulations
- Operate an FLT Counterbalance truck safely and efficiently
- Organise waste areas and position bins correctly
- Carry out manual sorting duties where required
- Use PPE correctly and follow all Health & Safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment
- Carry out additional duties as required by site management
- A valid FLT Counterbalance licence
- A valid UK driving licence and access to own transport
- Good communication skills

- Ability to multitask within a fast-paced environment

- Previous experience handling medical, clinical, or pharmaceutical waste
- Previous FLT Counterbalance experience in a warehouse or waste environment
- Full training on company policies and procedures
