Production Operative - MCU Assembly

Location: South East London

Joining a growing manufacturing team, the Production Operative – MCU Assembly will support the assembly of high-performance electronic products used across advanced engineering sectors. This is a hands-on role requiring precision, consistency and a strong focus on quality while working with sensitive components in a controlled production environment. The Production Operative – MCU Assembly will be responsible for:
Assembling mechanical and electrical components in line with work instructions, engineering specifications and production requirements Operating assembly equipment and hand tools, including torque-controlled tools and presses Carrying out in-process quality inspections, visual checks and testing activities Completing production records, quality documentation and traceability requirements accurately Identifying and managing non-conforming materials in accordance with established procedures Supporting continuous improvement activities and maintaining high standards of workplace organisation through 5S principles The Production Operative – MCU Assembly will have:
Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment Ability to follow electronic or on-screen work instructions accurately and consistently Experience using production hand tools and assembly equipment Awareness of ESD controls and the requirements of working with sensitive components Good component recognition and understanding of handling requirements for precision parts Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused approach to work This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys hands-on assembly work and takes pride in delivering quality products within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
