British Army metal smith role involves repairing and fabricating parts for tanks, helicopters, generators, and other vehicles. You’ll train as a welder and sheet metal worker, ready to work in tough conditions and in small teams around the world.
Starting pay begins at £27,282 per year, with progression as you gain experience. Initial military training covers fieldcraft and rifle handling, followed by engineering training at MOD Lyneham.
