Senior Staff Technical Account Manager
We are hiring a Senior Staff Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join our team. The Global Partner Integration Team, within the DTC Global Platform Team, owns and manages go‑to‑market partner integrations, including affiliate‑owned set‑top‑box (STB) integrations, for WBD. These integrations focus on back‑office systems such as authentication, authorisation, shared identity, billing, entitlement services, and apps deployed on affiliate‑owned equipment. This role works with external affiliates and partners throughout the lifecycle of their integrations, alongside internal Engineering, Distribution, Product, and other stakeholder teams, to efficiently launch and sustain these integrations.
Responsibilities- Work with the affiliate from initial technical engagement through to launch, as the primary technical point of contact.
- Assess a partner’s capability to perform an integration and evaluate their designs and plans to identify and resolve issues before implementation.
- Identify and define requirements unique to partner integrations or devices, and drive technical negotiation and alignment.
- Drive partners to adopt the standard integration architecture, delegating bespoke solutions only when standard integration is not achievable.
- Serve as the subject‑matter expert for each owned integration, collaborating with internal and external engineering teams as necessary.
- Represent the voice of partners, using data‑driven insights to surface key partner insights and improve the integration experience.
- Collaborate with the Ops team during integration to verify testing and resolve issues, ensuring partners stay within the program strategy.
- If a partner requires bespoke work, coordinate with Product Management, Engineering, Program Management, and other teams to implement solutions.
- Played a lead role in the delivery of a major product or feature launch as a Technical Account Manager, Product Manager, Program Manager, Engineer, or Solutions Architect.
- Balanced technical depth, product knowledge, business understanding, and organisational and communication skills to make the right decisions, backed by a proven track record.
- Understood back‑office systems such as authentication, authorisation, identity management, billing, and entitlements, and demonstrated ability to deliver projects in these areas.
- Understood affiliate equipment, including set‑top boxes, and worked with partners to integrate our app onto that equipment and into our broader framework.
- Communicated effectively across all levels and disciplines—from Engineering to Marketing/Distribution to Executive Leadership—and managed multiple stakeholders and projects through various implementation stages.
- Led planning, execution, and delivery of projects across multiple product and technology teams worldwide.
- Analyzed technical designs, organised project timelines, secured commitments, managed risks, identified critical paths, triaged bugs, reviewed metrics, and monitored launch operations for large software projects.
- Used data to assess the success of launched products.
- Demonstrated sound judgment across multiple projects or programme areas, managing more than one project simultaneously and successfully.
- Bachelor’s degree and significant experience in Technical Account Management, Product Management, Programme Management, Engineering, or Solutions Architecture.
- Must have legal right to work in the country of hire.
Hybrid working – This role is advertised as a hybrid work model, combining remote and in‑office work in accordance with our current company policy. The arrangement may change subject to applicable laws.
