Salary: 30,000 basic + bonus potential up to 36,000 OTE
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (1-hour lunch break)

Our client, a globally recognised manufacturer of premium dental and hairdressing equipment, is seeking a Workshop Technician to join their growing London-based team. As a Workshop Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly, testing, and quality inspection of a wide range of dental and hairdressing equipment. Working as part of a skilled workshop team, you will ensure products are built to the highest standards before being dispatched to customers.

• Assemble mechanical and electrical equipment from start to finish.
• Interpret and work from technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Carry out testing, inspections, and adjustments to ensure product functionality and quality standards are met.
  
  Complete production, quality control, and testing documentation accurately.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
• Identify and report faults, defects, or discrepancies to management.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets and deadlines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and development.

• Previous experience in mechanical and/or electrical assembly.
• Apprenticeship or vocational qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Competent using hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical test equipment such as multimeters.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good organisational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and comfortable carrying out hands-on workshop duties.

• Experience with in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Familiarity with structured testing and inspection procedures.
• Full UK driving licence.
