Monday to Friday Rotating Day Shifts Week 1: 6:00am 2:00pm Week 2: 2:00pm 10:00pm The Opportunity TLP Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company in Hereford for a Production Operative to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for long-term work with ongoing training and the potential to secure a permanent position. The role involves working across various stages of the production and galvanizing process, ensuring products are handled safely and meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities Receive and check incoming materials against delivery documentation. Inspect materials to ensure they meet pre-process quality standards. Safely unload deliveries and correctly store and identify materials. Prepare and load materials onto jigs for processing, maximising capacity while maintaining safe working practices. Unload and inspect materials following the galvanizing process. Weigh, count, stack, and organise finished products within the yard.
Load outgoing vehicles, checking materials and quantities against delivery notes. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment. Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies at all times. About You We're looking for someone who is:
Experienced in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment (preferred but not essential). Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality. Reliable, punctual, and motivated. Able to work well independently and as part of a team. Committed to maintaining high standards of health and safety.
