Welder ​/ Fabricator

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fabricator / Welder to join an expanding award-winning team of production technicians, manufacturing stainless steel components, for the automotive, utilities and food industries based close to Meadowhall and the M1 motorway in Sheffield. About the role The role of a Fabricator / Welder involves working within a passionate team responsible for fabricating and TIG welding various products to the highest standards.

Key activities involve:
Successfully achieving the daily planned production schedule Maintaining and striving to improve, production quality Contributing to the smooth operation of the workshop About the hours & rewards As a Fabricator / Welder, you will work Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week and the benefits are: A salary of £14.00 - £20.00 per hour (depending on experience). Daytime & weekday work only / Early finish Fridays (No weekend work – unless on overtime) 4 weeks plus 8 days statutory holiday (plus a holiday scheme gaining 1 additional day per year of service) Christmas/New Year Shutdown Company Pension Generous Overtime rates Staff Parking Staff discount on company products Company Events About you As a Fabricator / Welder, you must have a professional approach to work and possess the drive and energy to contribute to a flexible, fast-paced environment and contribute to the overall performance and growth of both companies and you must have / be: A proven track record of the high quality TIG / MIG welding and general fabrication skills.

Able to produce work of a high standard within given time constraints. Have a good attendance and timekeeping record. Open to new ideas and make a positive contribution to the team.
