We have a great opportunity for a hands‑on, reliable and detail-focused person to join the company’s tambour door production team in Heathrow, London.

SALARY: £13.28 per hour

LOCATION: Heathrow, London –
Fully site-based

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: Day Shift - Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am to 1pm

JOB OVERVIEW

This is a practical and rewarding opportunity for an Assembly Operative to work as part of a busy production team, producing high-quality products from specific measurements, calculations, drawings and instructions.

As the Assembly Operative you will work on the assembly line, pack boxes, load and unload materials and finished goods, inspect assembled products for faults or defects and follow established safety and efficiency procedures.

The Assembly Operative will need previous experience in light production and hands‑on assembly work, with the ability to follow instructions, work to a production plan and maintain a safe, efficient and organised working environment.

DUTIES
  • Assembly Line Production: Produce products based on specific measurements, calculations, drawings or instructions under the supervision of a senior operative or supervisor
  • Packing and Materials Handling: Pack boxes, load and unload materials and finished goods while following safety protocols
  • Product Inspection: Inspect assembled products for faults, defects or imperfections before they move through the production process
  • Issue Reporting: Report incidents, faulty operations or product imperfections on the assembly line to the supervisor or production and site manager
  • Safety and Efficiency: Follow established safety and efficiency procedures to help ensure operations run smoothly
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
  • Previous experience in light production and hands‑on assembly work
  • Familiarity with working to a production plan
  • Able to work individually and as part of a team
  • Attentive to detail and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work
  • Able to understand and follow instructions
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
  • Able to use own initiative when required
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and regulations
  • CNC experience would be desirable
  • A forklift licence would be an advantage, but is not essential
  • A solid understanding of production machinery and proper assembly procedures would be an advantage, but is not essential
