Factory Operative

T&K Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of our Client in Swadlincote for a number of Factory Labourers to join their team on a Temporary to Permanent basis. The role will be starting on a day shift and moving onto a rotating shift pattern once fully trained.

Factory Labourer Job Details & Benefits;
Rotating shifts Monday Thursday 6:0015:30 & Fridays 6:0010:00 (with Friday overtime mandatory when required) and an afternoon shift every 3 rd week Monday Thursday 1pm-10:30pm. Starting hourly rate of £13.50 with the opportunity to rise to £16 with training sign off. Weekly pay Permanent role after 12 weeks Additional training offered on forklift, loading shovel etc with the opportunity of progressing within the Company Holidays-22 days  bank holidays when permanent increasing to 25 days in length of service Life assurance when permanent Company pension scheme Team building exercises / perks Free parking As a Factory Labourer you could be working across a number of departments where duties vary dependant on the area, however, could include the following;
Cutting sheets of metal Weighing and labelling products Stacking products onto pallets manually Performing machine checks Quality checking the products Forklift operation training is provided Working outside on the yard loading scrap metal using JCB shovel Using overhead crane Working to and ensure targets/deadlines are met Adhere to H&S within the workplace Maintain a clean and tidy working environment Factory Labourer Person Specification;
