Are you a Toolroom Manager looking for a high-impact, technically-led leadership role where you can own a critical function at the heart of manufacturing? Do you want engineering projects, internal training, and genuine responsibility in a stable, permanent position?
This is a permanent, site-based opportunity with a well-established engineering manufacturer, offering a senior-level remit and the backing to lead and improve how tooling is delivered from concept through to volume production.
You’ll join a business known for investing in people and technology, with a “cradle-to-grave” manufacturing approach and a Toolroom that directly enables everything the factory delivers to customers.
Based in Beckenham, you will lead a 15-person Toolroom (designers and toolmakers), managing new tooling delivery, maintenance strategy, capacity/budget, and cross-functional collaboration through tool trials and production readiness.
This role suits a technically-driven leader with a background in Engineering, Manufacturing, Toolmaking, Machining, or other technical engineering backgrounds.
The Role:- Lead the Toolroom function end-to-end: new tooling delivery, maintenance strategy, and continuous improvement
- Site-based in Beckenham, leading designers and toolmakers and collaborating with production/press shop and customers
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (daytime, exact start/finish times to be confirmed)
- Experienced engineering/manufacturing manager with strong people leadership
- Engineering mindset with project delivery capability across design-to-production environments
- Comfortable leading skilled technical teams and taking accountability for delivery, cost, and priorities

The salary advertised is the bracket available for this position. The actual salary paid will be dependent on your level of experience, qualifications and skill set and will be decided by our client, the employer.
