Mechanical Technician We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Technician to join a leading Engineering company based in Portsmouth. Introduction To perform short and long-term mechanical testing operations on composite, polymeric and metallic specimens, and assemblies, working to project plans and timescales Ideal Experience The Mechanical Technician role would suit someone with a Mechanical background in either Assembly, Fitting or Maintenance looking to advance their skills.

Someone that has good problem solving skills, works well in a team with strong time management and communication skills. IT literacy will also be required due to the documentation of the tests so ideally needing Word and Excel skills Desirable:
Any experience of working with instrumentation, installation of sensors, fitting gauges onto components, fault finding, testing, calibration and maintaining test equipment would be an advantage.
