Early finish Job Type: Temporary to Permanent We are currently recruiting for a Woodwork Assembler to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Banbury . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in woodwork, carpentry, joinery, furniture assembly or general woodworking who is looking for a long-term position within a stable working environment.

The Role As a Woodwork Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and preparing wooden components and products to a high standard. You will use a range of hand and power tools, ensuring all work is completed accurately, safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities Assembling wooden components and products Using a variety of hand and power tools Operating tools such as nail guns, bench saws and ply rip saws Measuring, cutting and fitting wooden materials accurately Working from drawings, measurements and assembly instructions Ensuring finished products meet the required quality standards Carrying out visual quality checks throughout the assembly process Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment Following company health and safety procedures Working efficiently to meet daily production targets Supporting other areas of the production process when required About You The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in woodwork, carpentry, joinery, furniture assembly or a similar hands-on environment Experience using power tools , ideally including nail guns, bench saws and ply rip saws Good practical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail The ability to accurately measure and work to specifications The ability to follow drawings and written instructions A good understanding of workplace health and safety A reliable and hardworking attitude The ability to work both independently and as part of a team Previous woodworking or assembly experience is highly desirable.
