What you'll be doing:- In this role, you will undertake hygiene tasks including the cleaning of equipment within production areas to the required hygiene standard.
- Use all chemicals appropriately and safely according to the COSHH regulations
- Deep cleaning of relevant areas following the cleaning schedule, as and when required
- Ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted to the correct personnel
- Follow work instructions highlighting any issues to the Hygiene Manager
- Promote a good health, safety and environmental culture within the department Identify
- Proficient in performing general warehouse hygiene duties, including the assembly and disassembly of machinery for thorough cleaning
- Strict adherence to written approved procedures for hygiene tasks, with attention to completing logbook entries by company standards
- Promotion of a strong culture of health, safety, and environmental awareness within the department
- Effective communication abilities, both in reading and writing
- Experience working in a role involving manual handling desired
- Experience of working in a food production environment is desired, but not always essential
- Cleaning experience preferred but not essential
