Your new role As a Welder (PG3), you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds in line with approved welding procedures and manufacturing instructions, contributing directly to the construction and completion of complex engineering projects.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Carrying out welding activities in accordance with approved welding procedures Interpreting manufacturing instructions and technical documentation Ensuring all work is completed to required quality standards and tolerances Demonstrating strong hand skills and precision in all welding processes Maintaining strict adherence to SHE (Safety, Health & Environmental) standards and risk awareness Working closely with supervisors and other trades to support production targets Assisting in problem-solving activities on the shop floor Adapting to changes in drawings, technologies, and working practices Supporting and coaching apprentices where required.

What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role, you will bring:
Practical welding experience supported by relevant on-the-job and/or classroom training Strong understanding of welding procedures, manufacturing instructions, and processes A clear commitment to safety and SHE compliance Knowledge of quality standards and work tolerances within a manufacturing environment Good communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with colleagues at all levels A reliable and proactive approach, building trust with supervisors and peers Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving industry practices A positive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and improve Ability to share knowledge and support the development of apprentices What you'll get in return In return, you will receive :
