The Role As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality precision components while maintaining productivity, quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines and/or lathes. Editing and optimising existing CNC programs. Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications. Loading raw materials and tooling into machines. Conducting first-off, in-process and final inspections. Measuring components using a range of inspection equipment. Working closely with Manufacturing and Production teams to improve efficiency and productivity. Maintaining machinery and ensuring a clean, safe working environment.
Supporting quality initiatives and continuous improvement activities. Requirements To be considered, you should have:
Previous experience as a CNC Machinist, CNC Miller, CNC Turner or CNC Programmer. Experience programming, setting and operating CNC machinery. Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Experience with at least one of the following control systems:
