- Work with us to develop and produce a large-scale wall panel with raised lettering and a high-gloss, mirror-like finish EXAMPLE :
- Source and prepare the substrate (acrylic, aluminium composite or MDF) and confirm it is flat and true
- Produce the raised lettering, e.g. CNC-routed or laser-cut from acrylic, bond it to the panel and blend the edges with filler and sanding
- Prime, spray and clear-coat the panel, or coordinate this with an external spray shop if booth access is not available
- Wet-sand and machine-polish the finished surface to a flawless gloss
- Advise on a safe hanging system and support delivery and installation
- Keep us updated with photos at each stage and flag any issues with timings or materials early
Skills and Experience Required
- Hands-on workshop experience with 3D fabrication: CNC routing, laser cutting, panel preparation and finishing
- Experience achieving high-gloss finishes, whether in automotive-style spraying, 2K lacquer, resin coating or similar
- Confident wet-sanding and polishing to a mirror finish
- Good attention to detail; this finish shows every dust speck and ripple
- Able to work safely with resins, solvents and spray equipment, with appropriate PPE
- Access to workshop facilities is helpful but not essential; we can arrange spraying separately
- A portfolio showing finished physical objects, not just renders or concepts
- Reliable communicator, comfortable working to a deadline and a fixed budget
