Machine Operator​/Setter

Machine Setter required in Runcorn - £15.67 per hour.

Our client, one of the UK's leading companies in their industry, are looking for a Machine Setter to work on site at their pharmaceutical production facility in Astmoor, Runcorn.

The role of machine setter requires the preparation of machines prior to production to ensure timely and efficient production of high quality product. To perform adjustments mid-production run and perform reactive and planned preventative maintenance to machinery. The role requires a mechanically minded person who can fault find, prioritise and rectify multiple issues on a variety of machinery.

• Change over and set packing lines to meet production requirements.
• Problem solve and resolve issues to optimise each machine in order to achieve maximum output.
• Carry out reactive and planned preventative maintenance.
• Always adhere to Company Health and Safety policy and GMP.
• Safeguard the health and wellbeing of yourself, your colleagues and the safety and protection of Company manufactured products.
• Carry out additional duties as required.

The job operates Monday to Friday;
Rotating Day Shifts. Early Finish on a Friday!

Shift 1 – 6am until 2.15pm

Shift 2 – 2pm until 10.15pm

The rate of pay is £15.67 per hour.

This is a temporary position, with opportunities to go permanent for the right candidates.
