Ready for your next move and have a background in EdTech? If you’re naturally curious, thrive in fast‑paced environments, and love being the connector who brings teams together to make things happen — this is your kind of role.
Department: Product
Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time
Location: London, UK
The Role
We’re hiring a Product Marketing Manager for our SIMS Next Gen team sitting right at the heart of one of the biggest transformations happening in UK EdTech.
You’ll work closely with talented Product Managers, senior leaders and customer‑facing teams to ensure what we build is understood, valued and adopted by schools and MATs.
The Product Marketing Manager (PMM) will own the narrative, product launch plan and adoption strategy for SIMS Next Gen — helping schools understand the value of our new cloud‑native MIS and driving momentum as more modules are released.
Because of the wider transformation across the Group, the role will naturally get exposure to Finance, Payments and Catering — so your work will stay varied, strategic and high‑impact across multiple teams and product domains.
Key Responsibilities- Product Narrative and Positioning
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers to understand the product vision and roadmap.
- Own the messaging and positioning — and partner with Marketing to translate these into campaigns, website content, sales materials and customer communications.
- Ensure every message aligns with the overarching Well‑Run Schools narrative and the wider Parent Pay ecosystem story.
- Product Launch and Adoption
- Lead how new functionality gets into users’ hands — and how we drive adoption once it’s there.
- Develop tiered launch plans integrating Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, and Research.
- Define target audiences, messaging, value propositions, and success metrics for key product releases.
- Manage release notes and internal communications to prepare teams for upcoming features and their benefits.
- Sales Enablement
- Partner with Sales Enablement to develop and maintain sales tools including presentations, talk tracks, one‑pagers, objection handling guides, and competitor analyses.
- Assist Sales teams in elevating conversations and differentiating SIMS and Schoolcomms from competitors.
- Ensure Sales teams are well‑informed about new features, their value, and positioning strategies to meet adoption and upsell goals.
- Product Marketing Content
- Create standalone product marketing content that gives customer‑facing teams clear, confident messages they can use immediately.
- Produce or coordinate content such as blogs, videos, demos, scripts, emails, and event materials.
- Maintain and update customer‑facing roadmaps.
- Monitor adoption and content performance to inform future messaging and activities.
- Customer and Market Insight
- Develop a deep understanding of various stakeholders including teachers, office teams, senior leadership, IT teams, and MAT leaders.
- Incorporate customer feedback into product decisions, launches, and messaging.
- Track competitor activity and provide actionable insights for Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.
- Between 3 to 5 years of experience in Product Marketing in the EdTech sector.
- Strong expertise across the full spectrum of product marketing.
- Proven ability to craft clear and compelling messaging for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Proven experience working closely with Marketing teams to translate product messaging into effective campaigns and go‑to‑market activity.
- Experience in B2B or B2B2C marketing environments.
- Natural curiosity and enthusiasm for understanding products deeply and exploring customer challenges.
