About the role:

We’re looking for a creative and strategic social media lead to own and grow Wildfarmed’s presence on Instagram and Tik Tok. This role is all about turning our mission into engaging content that deepens brand loyalty and expands our reach. From Reels to Stories, from community management to influencer collaborations, you’ll be the voice, vibe, and momentum behind our most visible channel.

What you will be doing :

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and own a social first content strategy focused on brand storytelling, education, and community-building, with key focus channels of Instagram and Tiktok
  • Plan and maintain a strategic and reactive content calendar incorporating key brand moments, partnerships, campaigns, and cultural relevance
  • Conduct regular competitor benchmarking and audience insights research to inform direction
  • Content Creation & Publishing
  • Create, edit, and publish high-quality content including reels, stories, carousels, and static posts, hands-on and end-to-end.
  • Write engaging, brand-consistent copy for all posts, captions, and stories.
  • Brief and collaborate with photographers, videographers, designers, and external creators when needed
  • Use content planning and scheduling tools (e.g. Later, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite) to manage and automate posting
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, legally compliant (e.g., usage rights), and visually cohesive
  • Community Management & Engagement
  • Monitor and actively manage comments, DMs, tags, and mentions daily to build a responsive and trusted brand presence
  • Escalate community feedback and flag opportunities or issues to the relevant internal teams
  • Create strategies to foster community participation (e.g., polls, Q&As, user-generated content, etc.)
  • Cultivate loyalty by recognising superfans, customers, and partners publicly and personally and attending industry events whether that be supper clubs, panel talks or events.
  • Account Growth & Performance Tracking
  • Track and report on key metrics: reach, engagement, follower growth, saves, shares, click-throughs, etc.
  • Use insights to refine content formats, posting times, hashtags, and messaging to maximise performance
  • Set and evaluate Instagram and Tiktok KPIs and campaign performance, providing monthly and quarterly reporting
  • Test and iterate on new content formats and strategies in response to performance data
  • Research and identify relevant creators, influencers, and aligned brands for collaboration opportunities
  • Manage influencer relationships: from outreach to briefing, content approvals, and performance tracking
  • Support brand campaigns with coordinated influencer or partner activations
  • Platform & Brand Governance
  • Ensure content and account settings follow best practices for security, accessibility, and brand safety
  • Maintain up-to-date bios, highlights, link-in-bio tools, and pinned posts
  • Stay informed about Instagram and Tiktok algorithm updates, new tools, and emerging social media trends
