Hours: 1.0 FTE (37 hours per week)
Location: LSESU (Central London)
Salary: £30,900.00

LSESU is looking for a creative, data-savvy Email Marketing Coordinator to lead our digital communications and connect with one of the UK's most diverse and engaged student communities.
This isn't just another marketing role. You'll be the voice in thousands of inboxes, helping students discover opportunities, get involved, and make the most of their university experience. From impactful campaigns to society showcases, election updates to event promotions—you'll create email content that actually gets opened, read, and acted upon at one of the world’s most prestigious institutions.
What you'll doCreate campaigns that convert Design and deliver email marketing campaigns from concept to analysis. You'll write compelling copy, build beautiful templates, segment audiences, and dive into the data to see what's working (and what's not).
Tell stories with data Work with our Data & Insight Manager to turn numbers into narratives. Your campaigns will be informed by analytics, and your insights will shape our wider communications strategy.
Collaborate across the organisation Partner with colleagues across LSESU to promote everything from commercial venues to democratic campaigns.
What we're looking forYou don't need years of experience—just creativity, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in digital communications. Recent graduates welcome!
You might be right for this role if you:- Have experience creating email campaigns or digital content (whether through internships, volunteering, or university projects)
- Can write engaging copy that speaks to different audiences
- Enjoy working with data and using insights to improve performance
- Have an eye for design and understand brand consistency
- Know your way around email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, etc.) or are eager to learn
