Our Global Advocacy team shapes and manages Dyson’s narrative across three key pillars:
Press, Social, and Community. Working closely with senior stakeholders, we strategically deploy stories across the influencer pyramid – from celebrities and journalists to creators, expert ambassadors, and real owners (including Dyson People) – to build and protect our reputation. The team delivers a wide range of communications, spanning public relations, product launches, internal messaging, and global events.
This role supports the development and execution of Dyson Beauty’s global communications strategy across earned media and influencer strategy. Working closely with the Global Head of Beauty Communications and regional communications leads, you will coordinate cross‑market storytelling, toolkits and campaigns to ensure consistent global narratives while enabling local adaptation. The role is Beauty‑only, global in scope and delivery‑focused; it does not lead the function and has no direct line management, but will steward cross‑market work streams and agency partners to drive high‑quality outcomes.
You will ensure Dyson Beauty remains culturally relevant, sustaining social and media coverage beyond product launches while supporting day‑to‑day market needs.
Communications- Elevate Dyson Beauty through globally consistent storytelling and earned‑first programs.
- Strong media relations skills and familiarity with Beauty influencer engagement; comfortable pitching technology‑led stories to top‑tier media.
- Support the Global Head in developing and implementing global Beauty communications strategies for product launches and always‑on brand campaigns.
- Coordinate with regional and in‑market Beauty communications teams to ensure consistent storytelling and creative alignment across markets.
- Create and maintain Beauty global campaign toolkits (key messages, Q&A, asset packs, influencer briefs, content calendars) for market localisation.
- Develop and implement Dyson Beauty’s global influencer strategy, ensuring alignment with Dyson’s overall influencer operations framework.
- Provide strategic guidance to in‑market influencer and social media managers to maintain consistent storytelling and creative execution.
- Build and maintain global influencer relationships end‑to‑end, including communication, contracts, product allocation, and creative briefing.
- Focus on professional stylists and expert advocates to strengthen Dyson’s credibility in beauty.
- Negotiate contracts, manage budgets, and oversee agent relationships to ensure seamless integration into PR, content, and marketing programmes.
- Develop and implement a global content strategy across social, influencers, earned media, and partnerships to amplify marketing initiatives.
- Partner with Category, PR, Social, Media, Digital and Retail teams to integrate Beauty earned coverage and influencer content across paid and owned channels.
- Ensure compliance with brand, legal and regional guidelines; steward ethical and transparent influencer practices (disclosures, usage rights).
- Skilled in content briefing, creation oversight and platform‑specific optimisation; understanding of SEO best practices for communications.
- Ensure influencer content is optimised for SEO and tailored by platform in partnership with social and content teams.
- Oversee influencer briefs for product launches and campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and market alignment.
- Share best practices and insights across regions to elevate global influencer and social activity.
- Analyse campaign performance and deliver actionable insights for future launches and programmes.
- Manage monthly and quarterly reporting processes, integrating social data into broader marketing reports for data‑driven decisions.
- Stay ahead of influencer and content trends to maximise creative impact and exposure.
- Proven experience in influencer marketing and communications (global or in‑market).
