Monotype is seeking a Director, Product Marketing to be the voice of our solutions and a recognized authority on our markets. This role is central to how we articulate value, differentiate our offerings, and accelerate adoption across our platform.

You will serve as a trusted strategic partner within the broader Marketing team, as well as to Sales, Sales Enablement, and Product Management, influencing everything from product strategy to revenue execution. The ideal candidate is an energetic, results-driven leader who earns the confidence of senior stakeholders and brings a strong blend of marketing excellence, technical fluency, and commercial instinct to propel growth.

What

You’ll Be Doing Own product marketing strategy and execution
  • Provide executive leadership across product messaging, positioning, competitive intelligence, product launches, that is tightly aligned with our go-to-market strategy, our sales enablement as well as voice of customer team.
  • Define and evolve clear, differentiated messaging that resonates across customer segments, channels, and in-product experiences.
Drive go-to-market product excellence
  • Lead high-impact GTM plans for new and existing offerings, outlining how products are developed, positioned, launched, and scaled.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Sales Enablement to ensure teams are equipped with launch-ready, compelling narratives, value propositions, and proof points that clearly articulate differentiation.
Ensure a deep connection of the voice of the customer to what we offer in market
  • Partner with Product leadership and our Voice of Customer team to embed voice-of-customer insights into product planning through research, market trends, competitive analysis, and performance data.
  • Develop and maintain buyer and user personas that inform product development, marketing strategy, and lifecycle engagement.
  • Build and manage a strategic pipeline of customer references and case studies in partnership with Sales.
Build brand authority and demand
  • Represent Monotype at key industry conferences, events, and forums to build product credibility, brand awareness, and thought leadership.
  • Collaborate with demand generation teams to craft compelling stories that drive awareness, pipeline, and revenue across the customer lifecycle.
Lead and scale the product marketing function
  • Define a clear short- and long-term vision for product marketing as the company scales.
  • Build, coach, and lead a diverse, high-performing product marketing team.
  • Effectively prioritize initiatives and resources in a fast-growing, high-performance environment spanning both online and offline sales motions.
  • Motivate and support the team to consistently deliver measurable results against product marketing goals.
What We’re Looking For
  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing, go-to-market, product management, software, or strategic consulting.
  • 5+ years of experience partnering with or supporting a large, direct B2B sales organization.
  • Proven ability to influence, align, and execute in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with confidence engaging executive audiences and translating complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives.
