About Relevent Football Partners
Relevent Football Partners (RFP) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Relevent, purpose-built to commercialise the UEFA men’s club competitions globally. An independent entity, RFP is tasked with providing UC3 — the joint venture between UEFA and European Football Clubs (EFC) — strategic and sales support in the worldwide marketing and sale of media, sponsorship, and licensing rights for the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Conference League, UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Youth League, and the UEFA Futsal Champions League.
Following the UC3 tender process, Relevent Football Partners was awarded the commercial rights to the UEFA men’s club competitions (Champions League, Europa League and Conference League) on a global basis for the 2027 to 2033 cycle.
As such, Relevent Football Partners is now seeking to build a truly world class business focused on the monetisation of these commercial rights.
Position SummaryThe Sales Manager EMEA will be responsible for helping execute the commercial strategy and ultimately generating revenue via the sale of fully integrated commercial sponsor ships for UEFA Men’s Club Competitions. This position will work directly with the Head of Sales EMEA to spearhead the sponsorship sales efforts at a global and regional level for the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League.

- Proactive contributor to all aspects of driving the partnership portfolio across UEFA Men's Club Competitions, from sourcing through to closing out opportunities
- Strong appetite for lead generation and proven ability engaging marketing leaders through creative and compelling outreach
- Participate in the development and creation of marketing materials for the purpose of commercial presentations, striving for best in class proposition development
- Identify and secure industry leading strategic partnerships, sponsor ships, and licensing opportunities with global brands
- Drive strategic level relationships with clients, agencies and influential parties across the sponsorship ecosystem
- Contribute to sponsorship revenue generation
- Participate in relevant events and experiential marketing commercial activities
- Act as representative at commercial and marketing events
- Ensure the legal consistency of the sponsorship documents
- Utilise data-driven insights to optimise revenue opportunities
- Keep informed across broader marketing trends and the marketing landscape to ensure Relevent Football Partners present UEFA Men's Club Competitions in the most relevant and effective way
- Particular focus on the Europa/Conference League positioning to ensure we elevate the competitions and drive our ambitious revenue growth
- Significant professional experience working in sales/business development roles in sponsorship
- Experience in the sports industry preferred
- A passion for sports and interest in football
- Ultimate team player
- Proven track record in client and partner relationship management
- Existing knowledge and understanding of the sports sponsorship industry
- Entrepreneurial spirit with excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- English fluency required, proficiency in other languages preferred
- Willingness to travel across EMEA and globally
