Location: Greater London

A leading asset manager is looking for an events manager (associate level c5-8 years experience) to join them on a 12 month contract.

Location

Location: London (4 days onsite, with regular travel to events)

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the planning and delivery of a diverse portfolio of mid- to high-complexity events across the EMEA region, managing the full lifecycle from pre-event promotion through post-event follow-up.
  • Own key components of event delivery, including coordination of cross-functional working groups, content and creative direction, experiential activations, end-to-end project management, registration, event communications, venue logistics, budget oversight, and related activities.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to develop comprehensive Event Briefs aligned to core business and commercial objectives, forming the basis for content creation and experience design.
  • Drive flawless execution of events, ensuring consistency with strategic goals, event objectives, and approved budgets.
  • Measure and evaluate event performance, leading Event Debriefs to assess brand impact, reputational outcomes and overall success.
  • Establish and nurture strong partnerships with internal teams such as Multimedia, Global Creative, Content, Digital for Events, Facilities, and other key collaborators.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in event marketing, brand experiences or experiential activations.
  • A highly motivated, solutions-oriented self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong results focus.
  • Able to combine strategic, big-picture thinking with hands‑on execution and attention to detail.
  • Proven experience influencing and leading across multiple functions and seniority levels.
  • Comfortable operating in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment spanning multiple time zones.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a polished and confident executive presence.
  • Willingness to travel for in-person events as required (approximately 30%).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including One Drive, and experienced with event technology platforms such as Cvent, Coupa and similar tools.
