Job Description About the Team
The EMEA Integrated Marketing team leads the end-to-end development of RFP responses, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and designed to foster long-term partnerships with The Wall Street Journal and Barron's Group. Based in London, we focus on understanding client goals and assembling specialist teams to solve complex marketing problems using market intelligence and award-winning custom content.
About the RoleWe are looking for an ambitious Associate with a passion for media and an editorial mindset to join our EMEA Integrated Marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Integrated Marketing, International, you will support the wider team (including 2x Senior Managers) by shadowing and supporting complex responses for clients, maintaining and updating team collateral and templates, and supporting trade marketing initiatives.
This is a full-time role suited for someone with a foundational understanding of the advertising landscape who is eager to learn about branded content programs, and work in a large matrixed organisation.
You Will- Support RFP Responses:
Assist in the creation of pitch and proposal work that competitively communicates the value of The Wall Street Journal & Barron's Group media offerings. - Create Compelling Presentations:
Contribute to the development of written creative proposals and visually motivated pitch decks, collaborating with disciplines like The Trust and Events. - Fact-Checking:
Ensuring that audience stats, traffic numbers, and case study results are up to date and accurate. - Collaborate Internally:
Coordinate with internal teams—including Sales, Product Marketing, Ad Ops, and Research—to ensure integrated programs are cohesive and high-quality. - Marketing Support:
Assist the Trade Marketing teams with ad hoc projects and barter deals as required.
- Experience:
B.A./B.S. (or equivalent) with circa 1–2 years of marketing experience, ideally within a publishing or digital advertising environment. - Industry Interest: A foundational understanding of the current social, branded content, and digital landscapes.
- Communication
Skills:
Confidence in interfacing with various internal teams and participating in creative brainstorms. - Competencies:
Comfortable with Google Slides and Excel, fast learner who can balance multiple tasks - Execution Focus:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high standard for visual presentations and attention to detail.
