Company Description
Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH) is a world-famous creative agency that makes jaw-dropping, thumb-stopping, eye-opening work for brands across the globe. Founded in London in 1982, we now have offices in New York, Los Angeles, Stockholm, Mumbai, Singapore, and Shanghai. Our first ad for Levi’s showed a black sheep travelling in the opposite direction to a flock of white ones. That’s where we got our logo and our guiding philosophy: when the world zigs, zag.
Why? Because it’s easy to zig, to go with the grain. It feels safe. It feels like the sensible thing to do. But the greater risk is failing to stand out. We believe in the power of difference to make a difference.
Our goal is a simple one: make the best work in the world. That’s where you come in. We need rebels, dreamers, thinkers, mathematicians, makers, artists, visionaries, doers, observers, the different and the unreasonable. We need Black Sheep. People who want to make the hearts flutter and minds do flips, who can change businesses and culture. People who want to make a difference, come here for something different.
OverviewWe’re looking for an ambitious PR & Marketing Manager to join our growing Business Development Unit (BDU), reporting to the Head of Communications.
This is a truly unique and rewarding role, working in collaboration with all departments to develop and tell our stories, and to promote the agency’s creative work, strategic thinking, talent and culture. In this instance, it’s important that the individual has experience working in PR, preferably within the creative industries. B2B and consumer PR experience are also welcomed.
The PR & Marketing Manager makes things happen. They are on the frontline of external communications and know how to drive projects and deliverables both inside and outside the agency. They bring all the mastery of the PR Executive role and take the driver’s seat. They build a strong internal network, knowing who to speak to in order to deliver.
But they don’t just make things happen. While continuing to learn their craft and build client and media relationships, they also develop their strategic thinking and the ability to adapt in a fast‑paced media landscape.
You need to be more than a safe pair of hands - that’s hygiene and expected. A BBH PR & Marketing Manager is passionate about making great work, proactive, and constantly striving to learn and do more. Restless, curious, with a healthy level of dissatisfaction - it’s this curiosity that makes a BBH Black Sheep a cut above the rest.
ResponsibilitiesOverall

You’re used to working with senior clients & stakeholders and earning your stripes as a trusted adviser. Preferably, you have experience of working in‑house in complex organisations, or working in an agency environment, managing several clients.
- You're an excellent writer who can turn their hand to a variety of different writing tasks - from Q&A to briefing documents, from press releases to commentary, from internal comms to social posts.
- You pay strong attention to detail and are organised, holding your work, and the work of your team, to very high standards.
- Positive and high energy - you'll need to inject even more fun into the BDU. We are a fast‑paced and demanding team, but we always support each other and have fun along the way. The BBH culture must shine through!
