PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £45,000 - £68,700 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OFTHE ROLE
The Media Portfolio Manager, LFU will use their expertise to shape and execute media strategies through data driven approaches for BBC TV Licensing, in partnership with agency partners, to drive sales / revenue. Reporting to the Head of Media Strategy, they will optimise and schedule LFU media, providing strategic insights into multi-channel campaigns. Collaborating with Media and Marketing teams and managing key stakeholders, they will develop efficient campaign plans across paid and owned platforms, to achieve sales and revenue objectives.
YourKey Responsibilities And Impact
- Maximise efficient use of paid / owned media strategies and media plan reviews, assessed against the creative brief, and elevate any media planning issues and conflicts.
- Expert at crafting precise and engaging media for digital and social ensuring optimal target audience reach and impact to drive sales
- Analyse performance, review data, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Implement media strategies tailored to audience segments across Paid Social, Digital, OLV, Audio, OOH and TV platforms.
- Optimise campaigns by responding to changes in audience behaviour, measurement, and wider, adjusting campaign variants to improve efficiency and managing communication with stakeholders throughout the process.
- Analyse performance, review data, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement, and stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in digital media
- Operational expertise of end-to-end delivery across broadcast playout services. Ensuring all output is of appropriate quality and complies with all relevant guidelines and procedures.
- Significant experience in media planning working within a broadcasting company, advertising, media or integrated marketing agency.
- Leading and influencing senior management towards impactful media outcomes.
- A strategic thinker, able to articulate a vision and goals, generate innovative ideas and approaches, and translate these into practical realities.
- Expert in crafting and executing promotional strategies, ensuring clear and impactful communication across all channels.
- Experience and knowledge of audience data and ability to analyse, interpret and apply media research.
- Experience of planning and reporting tools including Techedge (BARB), eTelmar (RAJAR).
- Experience in planning precise and editorially relevant broadcast media schedules for television and radio.
