Internal Communications Senior Executive

As a key member of our Internal Communications team, you’ll play an important role in contributing to how colleagues across the Firm connect, engage, and stay informed.

Sitting within the wider Communications and Corporate Affairs function, alongside our PR team, this role places you at the heart of a global strategic team led by our Director of Communications and Corporate Affairs. Although the team is based in London, our work has a truly international impact.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Internal Communications Senior Executive helps maintain a consistent, high-quality flow of firmwide communications. Partnering closely with the Senior Internal Communications Manager and the wider team, to engage and inspire our people across offices and time zones.

BAU Internal Communications
  • Coordinate the scheduling of all internal Firm communications.
  • Draft, edit and review a wide variety of internal communications.
  • Editorial lead for our weekly firmwide newsletter – running the end-to-end process including call-for-content, drafting, stakeholder review, formatting and distribution.
  • Coordinate our “Win of the Week” and “Client of the Month” programmes to showcase client stories – sourcing from the Client Development team and shaping the narrative against strategic priorities.
  • Monitor and maintain the Firm’s Intranet homepage – curate and publish timely, high-value content.
  • Manage global internal screens end-to-end – triage and fulfil screen requests, design high-impact assets and schedule content.
  • Work closely with our Business Services teams to draft, edit and proof internal copy for firmwide campaigns; uphold Firm voice and promoting best practices for internal communications.
  • Coordinate various initiatives to encourage collaboration around the Firm, including campaigns to showcase insights from our lawyers and drive transparency around travel to help drive cross-office collaboration.
  • Collaborate with PR and Social Media colleagues to maximise opportunities to elevate the Firm’s profile.
  • Help with planning, facilitation, and editing of internal video content.
  • Support the Senior Internal Communications Manager with the planning, facilitation and promotion of internal events, including the Town Hall.
  • Engagement dashboards – track performance across our internal communications channels and report back to the wider team with analysis and suggested tactics.
Skills and experience
  • 3 years+ experience in a similar role in professional services (preferably in a law firm)
  • Experience with SharePoint intranet platforms and email marketing (Vuture) – desirable
  • Experience in collaborating across an international, cross-matrix business
