About the Role

Trafalgar is seeking a confident Web Content Editor to support the delivery and optimisation of digital content across our global web ecosystem. Reporting to the Web Merchandising Manager, this role plays a key part in ensuring our websites deliver an exceptional customer experience while supporting commercial objectives, brand consistency, SEO performance and conversion goals.

This role will join a busy team, supporting the Web Content Producers and Web Merchandising Manager in maintaining high-quality, accurate, and optimised content. Working with stakeholders across the business, the Web Content Editor will support a wide range of projects with exposure to all aspects of web performance and experience.

Please note:

Strong content management system (CMS) experience and a high degree of confidence in learning new systems is critical to this role.

More about what you’ll be doing Content & CMS
  • Manage web content across multiple regional websites and brands, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Support content migration and rebranding projects, ensuring content quality, accuracy and adherence to best practices.
  • Maintain a well‑structured CMS that promotes usability and adheres to best practices.
  • Support the implementation of web content strategies that align with business objectives, customer needs and digital performance goals.
  • Build and manage high‑performing landing pages designed to maximise engagement and conversion.
  • Update, optimise and maintain website content to support strategic business initiatives and SEO priorities.
SEO & CRO
  • Apply SEO best practices across all digital content, including on‑page optimisation, internal linking and content structure.
  • Work closely with SEO stakeholders to implement SEO optimisation recommendations.
  • Support the roll‑out of optimisation recommendations.
  • Support landing page optimisation initiatives to improve acquisition, engagement and conversion performance.
Analytics & Performance Management
  • Proactively use data, analytics and customer insights to inform content decisions.
  • Provide feedback to stakeholders on content performance.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Support Digital Marketing teams on integrated cross‑channel tactical and brand campaigns.
  • Support Product, Brand, UX, SEO, CRM, Operations and Technology teams to deliver coordinated digital initiatives.
  • Support website enhancement projects and ongoing optimisation programmes.
Your Experience and Expertise Essential Experience & Skills
  • High level of confidence working with content management systems, ideally Umbraco
  • Strong understanding of landing page design principles
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to make recommendations
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines within a complex stakeholder environment
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices, including on‑page optimisation, content structure and search performance.
  • Detail‑oriented, structured, and comfortable in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment
  • Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
  • Experience of using Google Analytics
  • Experience of using work management software
