An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Engagement Officer to join the Communications team here Digital Engagement Officer there are three areas that you will work across:
Trust's Social Media
You will take a leading role in the management and operational delivery of GOSH NHS Trust's social media accounts, (Linked In, You Tube, Blue Sky, X) planning and producing content, monitoring for responses from and engaging with our community.
You will also lead managing operational delivery for other accounts including GOSH Learning Academy (Instagram, Linked In and Facebook) and Research & Innovation channels.
You will work closely with the GOSH Charity social media team on our shared Meta channels, and the Senior Digital Marketing Executive.
Website content
You will work with the Website Manager to update our website. You will lead on facilitating onboarding of new website editors and manage the website requests inbox, promptly addressing inquiries and requests.
Digital content creation
You will use your in-depth skills and knowledge of digital media to develop content that aligns with our strategy and can be used across the Trust's and Charity's digital channels and provide support and training to the Communications team. Additionally, you will manage filming and photography equipment, optimising resources to achieve production needs within budget limitations.
Main duties of the job- Play a leading role in the management and operational delivery of GOSH's social media accounts, collaborating closely with the Communications team to plan and develop integrated content strategies.
- Develop and execute innovative digital communication plans to engage patients and the public.
- Drive the implementation of marketing and communications strategies through digital channels, working closely with the external communication and digital lead to achieve objectives
- Organise web requests, prioritise projects, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure website content meets user needs.
- Manage the website requests inbox and social media inbox, promptly addressing inquiries and requests.
- Employ a multichannel approach to digital content creation, aligning with the Trust's overarching communications strategy and demonstrating skills in planning and execution. Provide support and training to the Communications team, delivering guidance on content creation.
- Provide guidance on CMS usage to the Communications team and website editors, adapting and optimising training programs to enhance effectiveness.

Person Specification- Educated in a relevant subject, for example communications, multimedia, broadcast journalism or have the equivalent work experience in a relevant area
